Only rechargeable eSIMs can be upgraded. Before purchasing, you can check whether the eSIM is rechargeable under the "Top-up option" tab.
Once you have used up your eSIM data, you can top up your eSIM whenever you want. You can also choose to upgrade in advance so that you are sure that you will not run out of data. You can top up your eSIM on our website. Does your eSIM not have the option to top up? Then you can always purchase a new one.
1. Log in to your Smissey account (make sure you're logged in to the same account you used to purchase the eSIM you want to top up).
2. Search the website for the destination for which you want to top up your current eSIM.
3. Choose the data bundle with which you want to top up your eSIM.
4. Select the eSIM options: Top up.
5. Enter your ICCID. You can find this in the email with your eSIM.
6. Settle. The confirmation will then be sent to your email and your eSIM will be automatically topped up.
If it is not possible to top up, or if the button does not work, it means that the eSIM is not rechargeable, or a network provider has changed for the eSIM. In this case, buy a new eSIM.
Note: If the top-up does not activate automatically, please follow the steps below:
- Restart your phone after upgrading the service.
- Turn airplane mode on and off to reestablish the connection.
